Easier Payments starting from April 1, 2026
From April 1, 2026, a number of services and transactions will be carried out exclusively in non-cash form. Cash payments in the specified categories will no longer be accepted.
What Will Change
Real Estate
All payments related to the purchase and sale of residential and other real estate will be conducted exclusively through banks.
Automobiles
All car purchase and sale transactions will be processed only via non-cash payment.
Government Services
Payments for services provided by government authorities will be made through the banking system.
Utility Services
Electricity, gas, and water supply payments will be accepted only in non-cash form.
Goods and Services
Non-cash payment will become mandatory for:
- alcoholic and tobacco products;
- fuel at gas stations;
- large purchases and selected categories of goods.
Payment Methods
Payments can be made via:
- bank cards;
- mobile banking applications;
- electronic payment services and terminals.
Recommendation
If you do not have a bank card or another non-cash payment method, it is recommended to arrange one in advance to avoid delays or inconvenience.
Non-cash payments are aimed at increasing transparency, security, and convenience in financial transactions.
